CMA 205 - Introduction to Video Production

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of digital video production in the context of narrative fiction filmmaking. Students will learn basic approaches to developing narratives, composition and lighting, editing, and sound design. Students will gain experience working in a variety of roles including pre- and post-production work. By the end of the semester, students will produce their own short videos to demonstrate their competency in the core skills taught throughout the semester.
