CHM 213 - General, Organic, and Biochemistry for Nurses

Corequisite: CHM 214

This course will introduce students to the fields of organic and biochemistry as well as the basic concepts of general chemistry. Particular attention will be given to the chemical properties and reactivities of lipids, proteins, carbohydrates, and nucleic acids.
Metabolism will also be addressed.
