NUR 303 - Foundations of Professional Nursing Practice & Theory

3 Semester Hours
Prerequisite: Admission into the Nursing Program
This course provides a foundation of personalized nursing care in individuals across the lifespan. Emphasis is on integrating and applying cultural care and social determinants of health. The focus is on evidence-based, safe, quality care, and achievement of optimal patient outcomes using the nursing process.
