CHM 214 - General, Organic, and Biochemistry Lab for Nurses

1 Semester Hours
Corequisite: CHM 213  

This course will introduce students to the fields of organic and biochemistry as well as the basic concepts of general chemistry. Particular attention will be given to the chemical properties and reactivities of lipids, proteins, carbohydrates, and nucleic acids. Metabolism will also be addressed. The lab portion of this course will reinforce the lecture content.
