The Religious Studies major prepares students for responsible participation in a pluralistic, globally-oriented society, within the framework of the diverse learning community that is North Carolina Wesleyan College. In fulfilling this mission, the major seeks to foster a mature understanding of the Judeo-Christian tradition and a deep appreciation for other major religious traditions. Consistent with the liberal arts tradition, the major is designed to train students to think profoundly and communicate clearly.
