The Master of Public Health (MPH) program at NCWU, with concentrations in Physical Activity and Health or Social Epidemiology, is designed to equip graduate students with the knowledge and skills to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals, communities, and populations. The program is designed to prepare the next generation of public health professionals to use high-impact strategies to create and sustain health for all. The MPH program includes foundational public health courses, in addition to concentration-specific courses, which are designed to help students identify, understand, and address health barriers across diverse populations and settings, and to apply this knowledge towards the promotion of wellness and health equity.
The Master of Public Health (MPH) requires the completion of 42 semester hours of credit.
