HIS 303 - The 99 Years (1815-1914)

Prerequisite: HIS 102 , HIS 111 or HIS 112 recommended
This course is about the transformation of Europe from an impoverished continent of kingdoms in 1815 to the planet’s wealthiest, most powerful continent of democracies in 1914. Topics will include nationalism, industrialization, mass politics, feminism, women and popular culture. Open to all major, no pre-requisites, but HIS 102 , HIS 111 or HIS 112 are recommended.
