POL 310 - Political Economy 3 Semester Hours This course is designed to investigate political, economic, philosophical, social, historical and legal aspects of the structure and operation of America’s macro- and micro-economic systems. Focus is given to how these United States systems compare internally over time and externally across nations, with an extended introduction to international political economy. Students should develop the knowledge and skills necessary to analyze United States political economy in global context, from contemporary history to expected future trends.
