CIS 415 - Ethical Hacking


3 Semester Hours
Prerequisite: CIS 305 
This course introduces ethical hacking concepts, which is a legal form of hacking done with the organization’s permission. Students will examine penetration testing tools in a business environment, the legal requirements of penetration testing, and reporting the testing results. This course is appropriate for students who plan to prepare for information security careers and may pursue a certified ethical hacker certification.
