CHM 202 - General Organic and Biochemistry Laboratory

Prerequisite: CHM 111/CHM 112
Corequisite: CHM 201

This course will introduce students to the fields of organic and biochemistry. Particular attention will be given to the chemical properties and reactivities of lipids, proteins, carbohydrates and nucleic acids. The metabolism of these molecules will also be addressed. The lab portion of this course will reinforce the lecture material and will explore the properties of these biological molecules.
