COM 210 - Writing About Pop Culture

Prerequisite: ENG 112
This course guides students through writing their own close analyses of film, television, digital media and other works of popular culture. We will examine a range of critical theories that students will apply to popular media. Students will also study and practice writing in a variety of genres for both popular and academic audiences with the goal of producing publishable reviews by the end of the course.
