ENG 230 - Regional World Literatures 3 Semester Hours Prerequisite: C or better in ENG 112 This course introduces students to a selection of literary texts from a specific region of the world, such as Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, India or the Middle East. The course focuses on one region, chosen by the instructor, for the entirety of the semester and addresses literary texts in their social, historical, and political contexts. Issues of genre, literary technique, and representation can also be explored.
