HCA 200 - Introduction to Healthcare Administration

This course is designed for undergraduate students who see an understanding of the administration organization and delivery of healthcare in the United States. This course studies the organizational structures, types of governance and management issues of the American healthcare system. Topics to be examined include introduction to healthcare systems; managing health services organizations and systems; healthcare environments, administrative responsibilities and structures; and function and roles of professional and non-professional staff.
