POL 300 - The United States Congress

This is an introductory course on The United States Congress. It is designed to give students a basic understanding of how Congress works and why from the framing of the Constitution to the present. The course is particularly concerned with the development of Congress, its representational role, structure and process and congressional policy and performance.
