SPE 300 - Introduction to Exceptional Children

3 Semester Hours
Prerequisite: EDU 202, EDU 205
This course introduces students to services for children identified as special needs and examines different exceptionalities as defined by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The course addresses inclusion education of exceptionalities in the regular classroom.

Note: Field experience is required.
