REL 375 - Introduction to Biblical Hebrew I

This course is designed to familiarize students with the basics of Biblical Hebrew, including vocabulary, syntax, the nominal system, and the verbal system. The goal of this course is to enable students to further explore readings in the Hebrew Bible either in the continuation of this course in the spring, or independently. The principles ofBiblical Hebrew covered in this course will also give students a greater appreciation for linguistic elements in other Semitic languages.
